Seeking to Sublet/Sublease This Summer?

The CDO from time to time receives requests from Miami Law students or students elsewhere seeking to sublet their apartment and/or sublease another apartment over the summer.  We recently heard from a law student in NYC seeking both.  If interested in being put in contact with this individual, please contact the CDO at cdo@law.miami.edu.

A NYC-based law student is looking for a room to sublet from May 28 through Aug. 4 that is under $900 a month.  Something within walking distance (around 10-12 minutes) of the Metrorail is ideal.   It does not matter if there are additional roommates in the apartment but she would feel more comfortable living with other women.

Her New York apartment is a two bedroom and she will be subleasing her bedroom.  Her roommate will be studying for the bar so she will need a quiet and respectful subletter, although she will likely be out of the apartment often. The building is 2 blocks from the East 96th Street stop on the 6 line. It is in an elevator, doorman building. The rent is $1,480 a month. Utilities will be split with her roommate, they average $50-60 a month for internet and electricity (water and gas for cooking are included.) The apartment is available starting the weekend of May 19.  She is flexible on move-in and -out dates.

Again, please contact the CDO to be put in touch with this individual.

EuroBrussels Helps Job Seekers Find Listings in EU Affairs

EuroBrussels was launched in 2001 as a service to help European Affairs job seekers find listings of all the actual jobs in EU Affairs, conveniently   listed in one place. Previously, these jobs were scattered across multiple websites, making it hard to find out which jobs are available, and also hard for recruiters to reach candidates in EU Affairs easily.

This service quickly found its audience in thousands of well-educated European professionals who work in law, politics, economies and communication in Brussels, and other cities with European Affairs and   International Relations jobs.  For additional information, visit the website.
