There are two upcoming opportunities for Ms. JD to support the mentoring and career development of law students nationwide! Ms. JD’s Fellowship and Public Interest Scholarship are both currently accepting applications. Deadlines are fast approaching, so be sure to apply soon!
Summer 2013 Public Interest Scholarship:
Are you a public-interest minded law student? Do you know a law student working at a public interest organization this summer? Then Ms. JD has an opportunity for you!
Ms. JD is pleased to be offering $500 scholarships for law students working in public interest law this summer. Complete application information is available here.

Ms. JD is thrilled to continue its annual support of women pursuing public interest careers, as part of their ongoing efforts to support mentoring and career development at home and abroad. They will feature blog posts from winners throughout the summer, and hope to start a discussion about the unique role of women public interest attorneys in the profession.
Ms. JD’s 2013 Fellowship:
The Ms. JD Fellowship, one of their most popular programs, is open for applications until Friday, March 8, 2013!
In 2010, Ms. JD partnered with the ABA Commission on Women in the Profession to found the Ms. JD Fellowship. The Fellowship is Ms. JD’s program to promote mentoring and professional development. Each spring, Ms. JD selects a group of outstanding second-year law students as Fellowship winners. In addition to receiving financial support and invitations to ABA and Ms. JD events, each Fellowship winner is paired with a mentor chosen from among the Brent Award Winners and ABA Commission on Women in the Profession Commissioners.
