The American Bar Association Section of Litigation 2012 Judicial Intern Opportunity Program
The program is a full-time, six-week minimum, summer internship program open to all first- or second-year minority and/or economically disadvantaged law students. Selected students are given an opportunity to intern for six weeks or more during the summer with a participating state or federal judge in participating cities. Participating judges are from Illinois; Texas; Miami, FL; Phoenix, AZ; Washington, DC; Philadelphia, PA: Seattle, WA; Los Angeles and San Francisco, CA.
Students selected to participate in the program will receive an award of $1,500. The award is intended to be reimbursement of some of the expenses associated with the placement. Internship opportunities were offered to 191 minority and/or economically disadvantaged law students last year. Please see this year’s flyer, program description, and frequently asked questions page.
