  • Business Law Diversity Clerkship ProgramApplication deadline: December 23, 2011

  • Litigation Summer 2012 Judicial Internship Opportunity Program – Application deadline: January 6, 2012
    Applications now available for 2L and will be available for 1L beginning December 1, 2011. This program places minority or economically disadvantaged students with state and federal judges for summer internships. Tell me more.

II.  Competitions and Writing Contests

  • Health Law Writing Competition – Entry deadline: December 3, 2011
    Award: $500 honorarium, airfare, hotel for two nights and a $50 per diem for two days to attend the Emerging Issues Conference, February 23-25, 2012 in San Diego. Contact Simeone Carson for additional details. Tell me more.
  • Construction Industry 2011 Writing Competition – Entry deadline: December 31, 2011
    Award: $2,000 plus travel expenses and registration to attend the 2012 Forum on the Construction Industry Annual Meeting in Las Vegas. Students may submit articles on any topic related to construction law. Copy of the rules. For more information, contact Amanda Raible or Marilyn Klinger.
  • Business Law – Mendes Hershman Writing Contest – Entry deadline: January 20, 2012
    Awards: Cash prizes of $500 to $2,500 plus travel expenses to attend the ABA Business Law Section Spring Meeting. Tell me more.
  • Antitrust Writing Competition – Entry deadline: February 1, 2012
    Award: $2,000 cash plus an invitation to the Antitrust Section’s Spring Meeting (March 28-30, 2012) in Washington, D.C.  Airfare (if living outside DC area), accommodations, and registration will be paid by the Section. Tell me more.
  • Administrative Law and Regulatory Practice – Gellhorn-Sargentich Essay Competition – Entry deadline: April 1, 2012
