University of Miami School of Law Seeks Student Service Fellow

The Fellows Program challenges each Fellow to evaluate, research, design and implement new programs, systems and services to better the law student experience at Miami Law. Fellows are expected to think outside the box and propose innovative and creative suggestions to enhance the student experience.

Student Support: Will always be responsible for connecting students in need w/the Dean of Students or other law school resources, (Financial Aid, Law Registrar, Disability Services among others) and University Resources (Health Center, Parking, Student Accounts among others) to ensure that services are provided.

Student Programming: Will be responsible for coordination and/or providing support for large law school events and programs which may include Orientation, meetings for social events organized by the Dean or the Dean of Students to promote community life at the UM School of Law, 1L social events, Wellness Week, Mental Health Day, U Networking lunches and breakfasts and Mindfulness and the Law Programming.

Technology: Maintain current student webpage with new articles, upcoming events, and other relevant information. Develop additional content for Website including FAQ’s on topics of concern to the Student Body. Special Projects, Professionalism/Networking.

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree required and JD degree prfd., significant experience w/the University of Miami Coral Gables campus and the School of Law prfd. Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Salary: $24,049.33-$48,585.00
