Rocky Mountain Diversity Career Fair

The Rocky Mountain Diversity Career Fair aims to assist employers in fulfilling their commitments to diversity and expand opportunities for law students and law graduates traditionally under-represented in the practice of law in the Rocky Mountain region, including law students and graduates who are ethnic or racial minorities, disabled, and/or gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender. The job fair takes place at Invesco Field in Denver, Colorado, Friday, September 9, 2011.  Interested applicants can begin applying April 15 (deadline is July 25) by clicking here

Vault/MCAA Legal Diversity Career Fair

The Vault/MCAA Legal Diversity Career Fair is open to 2L, 3L and lateral candidates in Washington D.C. on Friday, July 29. The Los Angeles fair will take place Tuesday, July 26. Registration for each fair is separate and both are currently open. Virginia Bar Association Diversity Job Fair

The Virginia Bar Association (“VBA”) Annual Diversity Job Fair is open to rising 2L and 3L law students of diverse backgrounds (including race, ethnicity, national origin, gender, religion, sexual orientation, disability or age) who are interested in practicing in Virginia. There is no cost to students for participation in the fair.  More information and registration can be found here. Student registration began on May 16th and end on July 1st.

National Black Prosecutors Association Annual Job Fair

The National Black Prosecutors Association Annual Job Fair will be held on Tuesday, July 26 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  The early registration fee for the Job Fair and Job Fair Reception is $25.00 for law students and members of the class of 2011, and $50.00 for laterals. After May 20th, the regular registration fee is $50.00 for law students and members of the class of 2011, and $75.00 for laterals.  Registration is also available online with a credit card here. Registration is now open, deadline is July 12th.  

Heartland Legal Diversity Job Fair

The Heartland Diversity Job Fair takes place August 5-6 and is open to rising 2Ls, 3Ls and class of 2011 graduates. The  Fair is designed to expose students to both traditional and non-traditional employers.  For more information visit here. Registration deadline is May 20, 2011.

Lavender Law Career Fair

The Lavender Law Job Fair is open to rising 2L and 3L lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender students and in 2011 will be held in Los Angeles, California on September 8.  For more information please visit here. Registration deadlines are August 1 (early registration) and August 15.

The Boston Lawyers Group Boston & Washington Job Fairs for Law Students of Color

The Boston Job fair will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2011, at the InterContinental Hotel, 510 Atlantic Avenue, Boston, MA. The Washington, D.C. Job Fair will be held on Thursday, August 25, 2011, at the Renaissance Mayflower Hotel, 1127 Connecticut Avenue NW, Washington, D.C. In addition to the job fairs, the Boston Lawyers Group (“BLG”) will host networking receptions for selected students. Registration for the fair is open April 1, – July 11, 2011. The Indianapolis Diversity Job Fair

Full-time 2L law students representing all aspects of diversity are invited to participate in the Indy Bar Diversity Job Fair.  In addition to the opportunity to interview with more than 20 firm, government and corporate legal employers, three (3) student attendees will each be presented with a $2500 scholarship. This job fair is Thursday and Friday, August 18-19, 2011 and registration includes student reception on the first night of the job fair.  For more information, including registration information, and a list of participating employers from the 2010 job fair please see the flyer located on the Symplicity Document Library/Student Portal. The deadline to register to participate is July 18, 2011.
