New Jersey Courts will host a webinar featuring Bergen Vicinage Family Division Judge Jaclyn Medina, Hudson Vicinage Family Division Judge Martha Mainor, Passaic Vicinage Criminal Presiding Judge Sohail Mohammed and Joy Chen, a former New Jersey Supreme Court law clerk.
Each year, the New Jersey Courts hires approximately 480 law school graduates for a 53-week judicial clerkship.
Topics will include:
- Law clerk responsibilities in the different court divisions and levels
- Skills that judges look for when choosing a law clerk
- Application and interview processes
- The role of the law clerk in a virtual court system
Serving as a law clerk for the New Jersey Courts will give you an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the legal process that can only be learned through that service.
