The Kozyak Minority Mentoring Foundation invites you to a “Virtual Conversation with Government Lawyers”!

With Katherine Fernández Rundle (State Attorney, Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office), Carlos J. Martínez (Public Defender, Miami-Dade Public Defender’s Office), Lisa T. Roberts (Chief, Attorney Advisor, SEC, Miami Regional Office) and James Weinkle (Assistant U.S. Attorney, U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Southern District of Florida)

Fernández Rundle, Martínez, Roberts and Weinkle will share their experiences and answer your questions regarding the best way to prepare for and pursue a career in the government and will provide tips for obtaining an internship with the U.S. Attorney’s Office, the SEC and other federal and State organizations.

This series of virtual conversations explores different areas of law and helps current law students navigate the path towards their desired careers.

Who is invited: First and second year law students interested in learning more about what it means to practice civil litigation and how to prepare for a career in this area of law.

When: October 19, 2021 at 6 pm. It will last one hour.
