ABOUT THE FLORIDA HEALTH JUSTICE PROJECT:

The Florida Health Justice Project (FHJP) works to improve access to health care and health outcomes for vulnerable Floridians. Given Florida’s elderly demographic, we prioritize advocacy related to low–income elderly. While the organization is relatively new, our team has significant experience and expertise in publicly funded state and local health programs, effective advocacy skills and well-established networks with national health policy experts, as well as with local advocates and providers.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

FHJP is interviewing for a candidate to apply for a one-year, full-time Borchard Fellowship. For more information on the fellowship go to the website.

The deadline to submit materials to FHJP for consideration as a Borchard Fellow is March 27, 2019. FHJP’s selection of a candidate to apply for the Borchard Fellowship is not an offer or guarantee of employment. If the Borchard Foundation awards the FHJP candidate a fellowship, she or he will work on a project that helps identify and address barriers to medically necessary services for frail and disabled South Florida residents.
