The Palm Beach County Bar Association is Seeking Student Volunteers for its Annual Bench Bar Convention at the Palm Beach County Convention Center

On February 22, 2019, the Palm Beach County Bar Association is once again hosting its annual Bench Bar Convention at the Palm Beach County Convention Center in West Palm Beach where over 1,000 attorneys and judges will be in attendance.  This is the largest local gathering of attorneys and judges who meet to discuss legal issues pertinent to their respective areas of practice.

As with last year’s conference, they are looking for law student volunteers to provide assistance to the participants.  The students will be “information ambassadors”.  This is a great opportunity for students to meet local attorneys and judges.

There are two shifts: (7:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m.) and (1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.).  There will be a telephonic training beforehand so the students are fully prepared.  Students can attend the class sessions, student specific sessions and are welcome to attend the cocktail reception following the event.

Any interested student can contact Jean Middleton. Due to the large number of volunteers that have to be organized, please reach out to Ms. Middleton no later than Monday, February 5th.
