Third District Court of Appeal Seeks Law Clerk
The Third District Court of Appeal (3rd DCA) is seeking a Law Clerk to conduct legal research and analysis. Applicant must commit to serve a minimum of two years. This job presents an opportunity to engage in a high level of legal practice while still enjoying a family and personal life.
Applicants will be evaluated based on: academic accomplishment; critical thinking; writing; knowledge of the law; legal experience; legal research; and judgment.
Applicants must also show character, including the ability to maintain confidentiality; review matters objectively and without prejudice or bias; form and defend independent conclusions in discussions within chambers; demonstrate loyalty; work with others; and manage a caseload while producing outstanding work product.
Qualifications include graduation from an accredited law school and membership in the Florida Bar. Minimum two years experience practicing law is preferred.
