U.S. Dept. of Justice (DOJ) and U.S. Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Coming to Campus Next Week – Learn About Summer and Postgraduate Opportunities
Interested in pursuing an opportunity with the federal government, either for the summer or after graduation?
The United States Department of Justice (DOJ) and the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) will conduct information sessions next week to discuss opportunities available with their agencies, and the government hiring process overall. Below is information the upcoming sessions as well as currently opportunities for law students and their deadlines. Finally, additional resources helpful to students pursuing careers in government are listed.
Students interested in applying to government employers are encouraged to attend the upcoming sessions and to review opportunities with all agencies of interest so that deadlines are not missed. Please schedule an appointment with your advisor to discuss further your interest in government opportunities.

2. Opportunities for Law Students and Upcoming Deadlines
The DOJ is currently accepting applications both for its paid Summer Law Intern Program (SLIP) and its postgraduate Honors Program (HP):
- Summer Law Intern Program – Information and application available here . Deadline to apply is September 2, 2014 at 11:59 p.m. EST. Between 700 and 900 students will be hired as part of the SLIP program.
- Honors Program – Information and application available here. Deadline to apply is September 2, 2014 at 11:59 p.m. EST.
HUD is currently accepting applications for its postgraduate honors program:
