Description:

Heritage Health and Housing is offering an unpaid legal fellowship opportunity as a way for recent law graduates to work and assist the Non-Profit’s in-house legal department. The fellow(s) will be working directly with the General Counsel and may work on certain projects including any of the following:

1. Assisting the General Counsel organize a database and legal filing system for the housing and real estate leases,

2. Writing memo’s and preparing materials for the General Counsel on miscellaneous organizational corporate and certain contract matters,

3. Contract due diligence and preparation, and

4. Miscellaneous review and legal assistance

Heritage Health and Housing, Inc. is a non-profit 501 c(3) organization that provides enriched housing, counseling, education, employment and support to individuals in the community who have special needs, including the mentally disabled, substance abusers, persons living with HIV/AIDS, recently released ex-offenders, the homeless and seniors. They also provide needed overall community services including food services, community development and youth programs. Heritage Health and Housing maintains a Federally Qualified Health Center that provides comprehensive medical and dental services to our community regardless of ability to pay.
