Legal Services of Greater Miami, Inc. Third Annual Legal Eagles Closing Argument Competition
This one-day competition is open to all associates who practice in the 11th Judicial Circuit and have been admitted to the Florida Bar for less than seven years. Competitors will be judged by panels that include sitting judges and experienced practicing lawyers.
Competitors will receive facts and materials on June 12 at an invitation-only Competition Launch Party for judges, competitors and sponsors hosted by Bilzin Sumberg. The winner will be presented with the rotating trophy, contributed by Bilzin Sumberg, and maintain bragging rights to the title: “Best Closer in the County” along with published recognition.
The entry fee is $150 per competitor, with a $25 discount per competitor if three competitors from the same firm participate. Registration may be completed online.

Proceeds from the competition will benefit the Gwen S. Cherry and H.T. Smith Law Student Fellowships at Legal Services of Greater Miami, Inc.
If students would like to volunteer, they should go to the website to sign up. Volunteers will gain free access to the event and will have a chance to mingle with judges and attorneys throughout the day.
