The primary duties and responsibilities of the Director are to help students and alumni find employment and help employers find the right match among their students and alumni. This Director takes the lead in pursuing private sector and judicial clerkship opportunities and, in consultation with the Assistant Dean, in outreach to employers in those sectors.
Working collaboratively with others in the Career Development Office, this Director will provide comprehensive career counseling to Colorado Law students and alumni with a special focus on those interested in private sector and judicial clerkship opportunities. This Director also will have assigned responsibility for a certain number of students, and will advise students and alumni about careers in all legal and non-legal settings when appropriate for the needs of individual students or alumni.
