What’s the value of a law degree? $1M in a lifetime, report says. Debra Cassens Weiss, a senior writer/online, joined the ABA Journal staff in 1986. She has worked as a news researcher for WMAQ-TV in Chicago, as a reporter and editor at the City News Bureau of Chicago and as a newscaster at WMRO and WAUR radio (Aurora, Ill.).

This month, Ms. Weiss has written an interesting article concerning two professors battling the conventional wisdom about the lowered value of a law degree with a research paper finding that a JD degree more than pays for itself.
