Cost Effective Legal Research Trainings – Library Training Room D-236

To help students get ready for their summer jobs/internships/externships, several cost effective legal research trainings will be offered in April in the library’s training room (Room D-236). Students will find a list of all of the remaining trainings on the library’s website, and they are as follows:

  • April 2nd, 1:00 p.m. – 1:50 p.m.  – Library: Cost Effective Legal Research
  • April 4th, 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. – Lexis Advance: Cost Effective 
  • April 8th, 12:30 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. – WestlawNext: Cost Effective (Certification 301)
  • April 8th, 1:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. – WestlawNext: Cost Effective (Certification 301)
  • April 9th, 5:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. – Lexis Advance: Cost Effective
  • April 16th, 1:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. – Lexis Advance: Cost Effective

Note that the April 2nd training is by the library (and will cover a variety of sources), while the other trainings are conducted by the law school’s Lexis and Westlaw representatives. At the April 4th Lexis training, Lexis representatives will discuss cost effective techniques and pricing in a law firm setting.
