The Office for Civil Rights at the U.S. Department of Education is hiring one or more General Attorneys for its Program Legal Group. Applications will be accepted through August 3. General attorneys are part of group of about 20 attorneys in the Office for Civil Rights that develop and draft policy dealing with federal civil rights statutes (Title VI, Title IX, Section 504/ADA, Age Discrimination Act, and Boy Scout Equal Access Act) as applied to recipients of financial assistance from the Department of Education.
