General Upcoming and Postgraduate Government Opportunities Available to Students for 2011 and 2012
The Career Development Office (“CDO”) would like to provide you with an update on some of the government opportunities available to students for the upcoming summer (2L students) and after graduation (3L students). Many prestigious government agencies hire at the same time as private sector employers so your government job search should be conducted concurrently with a private sector job search. Comprehensive information about government opportunities for the summer of 2012 is available in the Government Honors and Internship Handbook published by the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law. University of Miami School of Law students and graduates may access the handbook online or obtain a hard copy from the CDO. The site is password protected. Please contact the CDO for the login information.
The “Government Opportunities” section of the Fall Recruiting 2011 Handbook has information on some of the more popular government opportunities with summer or early fall deadlines.
