Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division Scholarship

You could be the UM law student who wins a $1,500.00 cash scholarship from the Florida Bar’s Young Lawyers Division!

This year, the Young Lawyers Division of the Florida Bar (“YLD”) will award one (1) $1,500.00 cash scholarship to one (1) law student at each of Florida’s ABA- accredited law schools for a total of eleven (11) scholarships. The scholarships are awarded on the basis of both merit and financial need. Other than a photocopy of the applicant’s current law school transcript and a signed letter of recommendation, no other attachments should accompany the completed Scholarship Application. A copy of the application can be downloaded on the YLD website.

Completed scholarship applications, along with a letter of recommendation and the applicant’s law school transcript, must be returned by U.S. Mail by 4/30/09 to:
