Currently, the program is working remotely. If you wish to schedule a meeting with a Writing Dean&#8217;s Fellow please contact <a href=\"mailto:lmaroon@law.miami.edu\">Lori Maroon<\/a>, Assistant Director, at 305-284- 9208.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Writing Dean\u2019s Fellows <em>will <\/em>assist all students with:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>General&nbsp;&nbsp; Bluebook&nbsp;&nbsp; questions&nbsp;&nbsp; (including&nbsp;&nbsp; citations,&nbsp;&nbsp; quotes&nbsp;&nbsp; and formatting)<\/li><li>Organization,&nbsp; grammar,&nbsp; punctuation&nbsp; and&nbsp; composition&nbsp; for written papers and assignments<\/li><li>General research questions<\/li><li>Writing samples<\/li><li>Case briefs and outlines for personal study (not to be graded)<\/li><li>General academic advice<\/li><li>Practice exam preparation and review and exam strategy<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p> <strong>Writing Dean\u2019s Fellows <em>will not <\/em>assist all students with:<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Legal analysis of substantive issues<\/li><li>L-Comm class assignments (All questions relating to those courses must be directed to each student\u2019s assigned L-Comm faculty member)<\/li><li>Law Review submissions and assignments<\/li><li>Take-home exams<\/li><li>Moot Court Board assignments and competition submissions (unless a Professor advises you to get this assistance)<\/li><li>International&nbsp;&nbsp; Moot&nbsp;&nbsp; Court&nbsp;&nbsp; Board&nbsp;&nbsp; assignments&nbsp;&nbsp; and&nbsp;&nbsp; competition submissions (unless a Professor advises you to get this assistance)<\/li><li>Cover letters and resumes (please consult an advisor in the Career Development Office)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Spring 2022 Writing Dean\u2019s Fellows are working remotely and will<\/strong><strong> <\/strong><strong>contact you to schedule a zoom meeting<\/strong><strong>.<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Writing Dean&#8217;s Fellows will work from the start of classes until the last day of classes, January 18 \u2013 April 25th for Spring 2022 semester.
