{"id":9362,"date":"2021-04-16T13:21:39","date_gmt":"2021-04-16T16:21:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cdo.law.miami.edu\/?p=9362"},"modified":"2021-04-16T13:21:39","modified_gmt":"2021-04-16T16:21:39","slug":"attend-the-harrity-for-parity-womens-patent-workshop","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cdo.law.miami.edu\/?p=9362","title":{"rendered":"ATTEND THE HARRITY FOR PARITY WOMEN\u2019S PATENT WORKSHOP"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Do you want extensive patent training from some of the most prominent female patent lawyers in the country?\u00a0 Harrity is excited to host <strong>Harrity for Parity<\/strong>, our fourth annual Women\u2019s Patent Workshop.\u00a0 A select group of women will participate in this free four-day long program geared towards an introduction to the practice of patent law.\u00a0 The program will take place virtually during the week of May 17-20, 2021 and is open to science and engineering students, law school students, and recent graduates.<\/p>\n<p>DATES:\u00a0\u00a0 May 17, 2021 &#8211; May 20, 2021.<\/p>\n<p>THIS COMPLETELY REMOTE EVENT WILL INCLUDE:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prominent Guest Speakers<\/li>\n<li>Patent Law Skills Training<\/li>\n<li>Attorney Q &amp; A Panels.<\/li>\n<li>Writing Coach<\/li>\n<li>Networking Opportunities<\/li>\n<li>Legal Career Mentoring<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element \">\n<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n<p>The application window for Harrity for Parity 2021 is now OPEN!\u00a0 Applications are due by <strong>4\/30\/2021<\/strong>.\u00a0 Early submissions are encouraged!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Eligibility Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Candidates Must:<br \/>\n1. Be in good standing as a science\/engineering student or law student at an ABA accredited school, or be a recent engineering or law school graduate of an ABA accredited school;<br \/>\n2. Demonstrate a record of academic achievement;<br \/>\n3. Have a sincere interest in Harrity and practicing patent law; and<br \/>\n4.
