Semester in Practice Program, which<span class=\"apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>is an externship course that provides students with an opportunity to learn about the unique legal landscape in the nation\u2019s capital.\u00a0Typically offered in the Fall semester, students do their externship in Washington, D.C. at a diverse range of administrative agencies, legislative offices, national public interest organizations and in-house legal settings.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: black;\">The classroom component of the course focuses on D.C. institutions, professional identity formation, lawyering skills and ethics.\u00a0 When offered in person, the course includes opportunities to network with alums who practice in D.C. and visits to Congress and the United States Supreme Court.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Attend the D.C.
