Candidates are selected to participate in this immersive summer program through a highly competitive process.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/hnba.com\/2019-hnba-ipli-application\/\"><strong>To apply to participate in IPLI 2019<\/strong>, please fill out the online application and upload the following documents:<\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Personal statement (maximum 1000 words)<\/li>\n<li>Your most recent law school transcript<\/li>\n<li>Your current resume<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><em>Applications Open on February 1, 2019.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>ELIGIBILITY:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Candidates must meet the following criteria:<\/li>\n<li>A rising 2L or rising 3L and have already completed 1st year of classes by\u00a0 \u2026.<\/li>\n<li>Have a demonstrated interest in intellectual property law as a potential practice area<\/li>\n<li>Must be in good standing at an ABA accredited law school pursuing a Juris Doctor<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>NOTE:<\/strong>\u00a0Anyone who has graduated from law school or will graduate before September 2019 is NOT eligible. The selection committee will select up to 25 participants on the basis of a number of criteria, including: an evaluation of expressed personal interest; academic record; dedication and commitment toward accomplishing goals; professional and faculty recommendations; and technical\/scientific-related educational and employment background (if applicable). No one factor is dispositive.
