On February 22, 2019, the Palm Beach County Bar Association is once again hosting its annual Bench Bar Convention at the Palm Beach County Convention Center in West Palm Beach where over 1,000 attorneys and judges will be in attendance.\u00a0 This is the largest local gathering of attorneys and judges who meet to discuss legal issues pertinent to their respective areas of practice.<\/p>\n

As with last year’s conference, they are looking for law student volunteers to provide assistance to the participants.\u00a0 The students will be “information ambassadors”.\u00a0 This is a great\u00a0opportunity\u00a0for students to meet local attorneys and judges.<\/p>\n

There are two shifts: (7:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m.) and (1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.).\u00a0 There will be a telephonic training beforehand so the students are fully prepared.\u00a0 Students\u00a0can attend the class sessions, student specific sessions and are welcome to attend the cocktail reception following the event.<\/p>\n
