{"id":74,"date":"2008-10-28T10:41:00","date_gmt":"2008-10-28T15:41:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.law.miami.edu\/career\/?p=74"},"modified":"2008-10-28T10:41:00","modified_gmt":"2008-10-28T15:41:00","slug":"the-cdo-welcomes-1ls","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cdo.law.miami.edu\/?p=74","title":{"rendered":"The CDO Welcomes 1Ls!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>With November* rapidly approaching, the Career Development Office this week will host three orientation sessions for 1Ls to introduce them to the CDO&#8217;s resources and services.<\/p>\n<p>All 1Ls should attend <span style=\"color:#009900;\"><strong>one<\/strong><\/span> of the following orientation sessions (all sessions are the same):<\/p>\n<p>Tuesday, October 28 \u2013 1:00 p.m. in Room 309<br \/>Wednesday, October 29 \u2013 12:30 p.m. in Room 352<br \/>Thursday, October 30 \u2013 1:00 p.m. in Room 309<\/p>\n<p>Starting next week, 1L students may begin meeting with their assigned CDO advisor. Any 1L who has not yet received an email from his or her advisor should <a href=\"mailto:cdo@law.miami.edu\">contact the CDO<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>*The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nalp.org\/\">Association for Legal Career Professionals<\/a> (\u201cNALP\u201d) states that first-year law students should not begin the job search process until November of their first year.
