Ferrell served as Attorney Advisor in the Oklahoma City office of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for nine years.\u00a0 Much of her work concerned HUD\u2019s Native American programs; she was actively interested in Native American history and culture.\u00a0 One full (tuition, meals, and travel) scholarship to attend the Sovereignty Symposium XXVIII will be offered in her memory.\u00a0 Travel, lodging and meal expenses for the Ferrell scholarship winner will be paid pursuant to the Oklahoma State Travel Reimbursement Act, subject to the limitations stated below.*<\/p>\n<p><strong>WHAT?<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>The Supreme Court of Oklahoma and The Sovereignty Symposium, Inc.<\/strong> are sponsoring a full scholarship to The Sovereignty Symposium that will pay tuition, meals and travel to attend the Sovereignty Symposium.<\/p>\n<p><strong>WHEN?<\/strong>\u00a0The Sovereignty Symposium XXVIII, which will be held June 3-4, 2015 at the Skirvin Hilton Hotel, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.\u00a0 The keynote speaker for 2015 will be the Baroness Nicholson of Winterbourne, member of the House of Lords.<\/p>\n<p><strong>HOW?<\/strong>\u00a0Applicants should demonstrate an interest in and contribution to Native American legal issues by an application letter.\u00a0 There is no application form.\u00a0 Please include name, address, and day and evening telephone numbers in your letter.\u00a0 Applicants must be students at an accredited law school in the United States, its territories, or Canada.
