Director, Professional &#038; Career Development"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Reporting to the Assistant Dean for\u00a0Professional and Career Development, the successful candidate will assist law students with their professional development through career counseling, employer development and professional skills training. Will work collaboratively with the PCD team to prepare students for 21<sup>st<\/sup> century practice, assisting students to obtain internships and post-graduate employment. Applicants whose experience is in public interest and\/or government are strongly encouraged to apply. Where appropriate, the successful applicant may be tasked with administering the Law School\u2019s Pro Bono Program.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide\u00a0student-centered comprehensive career counseling, both individually and through workshops and related programming; such services will include\u00a0individually tailored career and professional development counseling,\u00a0resume and cover letter writing, and interview preparation.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the development of PD curricula and programming designed to provide\u00a0students with training in 21<sup>st<\/sup> century competencies required for modern practice.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain and expand experiential training opportunities for students through internship programs, on-campus interviewing and other coordinated\u00a0recruiting programs and job fairs.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with employer cultivation and marketing of the Suffolk University Law\u00a0School, its students and programs.<\/li>\n<li>Serve\u00a0as a liaison to law student groups and bar associations.<\/li>\n<li>Assist\u00a0the Assistant Dean for\u00a0Professional and Career Development on various\u00a0projects.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>J.
