Each film is followed by a lively debate. <i>Glengarry Glen Ross <\/i>is a 1992 American drama, adapted by David Mamet from his 1984 Pulitzer Prize- and Tony- winning play with the same name. The film depicts two days in the lives of four real estate salesmen and how they become desperate when the corporate office sends a trainer to &#8220;motivate&#8221; them by announcing that, in one week, all except the top salesmen will be fired. The screening will take place at UM\u2019s Bill Cosford Cinema at 6:30PM and is free to the UM community.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><i><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Public Interest Lecture Series &#8211; <\/span><\/i><i><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Wednesday, September 18<\/span><\/i><i><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p>Each year, the HOPE Public Interest Resource Center invites attorneys to share their experiences working in the public interest with students. The first speaker will be Betsy Havens, an EJW Fellow at Florida Legal Services who assists disabled children to obtain Medicaid coverage.
