The East Bay Community Law Center is seeking a Racial Justice Senior Fellow.<\/p>\n
Minimum Qualifications<\/strong><\/span>: <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n \u2022 Licensed to practice law in California preferred.<\/p>\n \u2022 At least five (5) years of legal practice, with demonstrated civil litigation experience.<\/p>\n \u2022 Desire to make a substantial commitment to the development and litigation of impact cases.<\/p>\n \u2022 Demonstrated commitment to social justice, criminal justice, and experience working in low-income communities of color.<\/p>\n \u2022 Experience in or demonstrated commitment to clinical education.<\/p>\n \u2022 Excellent oral and written communication and advocacy skills.<\/p>\n \u2022 Ability to work under pressure in an empathetic and professional manner.<\/p>\n \u2022 Ability to work effectively with a diverse range of groups, including low-income clients, people of color, people with criminal records, students, service providers, elected officials, court staff, foundations, non-profit community partners,\u00a0pro bono attorneys and law school faculty.<\/p>\n \u2022 Spanish or Asian language skills desirable.<\/p>\n Salary<\/strong><\/span>: <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Competitive public interest salary commensurate with experience; generous benefits package included.<\/p>\n
