Fulbright Public Policy Fellows will serve in professional placements in foreign government ministries or institutions and function in a \u201cspecial assistant\u201d role to a senior level official.\u00a0 Fellows gain<br \/>\nhands-on public sector experience in participating foreign countries while simultaneously carrying out a small academic research\/study project.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Available Countries<\/span>:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Bangladesh, Burma, Dominican Republic, Ethiopia, Guatemala, Haiti, Ivory Coast, Kazakhstan, Malawi, Nepal, and Western<br \/>\nSamoa.<\/p>\n<p>Applicable public policy fields may include (but are not limited to): Agriculture, Climate Change &amp; Environment, Economic Development, Education, Emergency Management, Energy, Finance, International Relations, Justice, Public Health,<br \/>\nSustainability, Tourism, and Trade.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Requirements<\/span>:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Candidates must have:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Master\u2019s or JD by Fall 2013 OR be currently enrolled in a doctoral program.<\/li>\n<li>Candidates who hold a doctoral degree at the time of application are not eligible.<\/li>\n<li>Have at least two years of full-time, professional work experience in policy-related fields.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For additional information on the program and application, please explore <a title=\"link\" href=\"http:\/\/tinyurl.com\/c2pcg7p\" target=\"_blank\">this link<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Application process<\/span>:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All Fulbright Public Policy Fellowship applicants must apply at-large, not through their university.
