Funded by the Everglades Foundation, the recipient will be placed in a staff position on a congressional committee or federal agency with jurisdiction over issues affecting the <st1:place st=\"on\">Everglades<\/st1:place>. The fellowship carries a stipend of $45,000 for the year.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size:14;\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size:14;\"><o:p><br \/>\n<br \/><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size:14;\">Applicants must be scheduled for award of a graduate degree from U.M. in May 2009. A solid academic record is required.
