The Investment Company Institute (ICI), the Washington, DC-based association representing regulated funds globally (mutual funds, exchange-traded funds, and closed-end funds), is pleased to offer a free one-hour webinar on Friday, November 19, 2021, from Noon – 1:00 p.m. ET to law school students from underrepresented communities to introduce them to the asset management industry and related legal and compliance career opportunities. ICI is the leading association representing regulated funds, including mutual funds and exchange-traded funds (ETFs), globally.
Webinar topics will include:
- The asset management industry: size, scope, and regulation
- How asset managers serve investors
- The range of legal and compliance career opportunities in the industry
- A day in the life of an asset management lawyer
Webinar participants will have the opportunity to ask questions throughout the webinar. Questions also may be submitted in advance during the webinar registration process.
