New Dates Announced for Foreign Service Officer Test – July 11-25, 2020!

Thank you for your interest in becoming a Foreign Service Officer. We are pleased to announce the next Foreign Service Officer Test (FSOT) will be offered July 11-25, 2020, with registration open from June 1-July 3.

We know you have been anxious to register and take the FSOT, but the current circumstances required us to postpone the dates. The safety and security of the American people, our workforce, and prospective candidates are a top priority for the U.S. Department of State.

We encourage you to register early as test sites may be limited due to COVID-19-related travel restrictions and stay-at-home orders. Additionally, the July FSOT will not be offered at U.S. Embassies and consulates overseas. Please check the Pearson VUE COVID-19 Update Page regularly for the latest testing availability and to review the health and safety measures required for testing.
