Welcome to SIDEBAR – Providing Resources for Legal Professionals

What is Sidebar? Sidebar is an innovative new company that provides modern legal professionals with essential resources for navigating, connecting and thriving in their local legal community. At its core, Sidebar is a movement. We are made-up of a growing group of self-identified modern legal professionals who have pinpointed glaring voids in the pipeline to connecting with one’s local legal community. Breaking down artificial barriers and focusing on collaboration, inclusion, design thinking principles and out-of-the-box solutions to help lawyers navigate their local legal community, we’re dedicated to producing some pretty cool stuff for lawyers. Sidebar’s cohesive array of resources for the modern professional includes a free weekly e-newsletter to help readers stay in the know and a unique curated event series.

Weekly E-Newsletter. Sidebar’s cohesive array of resources for the modern professional includes a free weekly e-newsletter (copies of past issues, link to register to receive future issues) to help readers stay in the know about all of the amazing work being done by local voluntary bar associations, non-profits, and opportunities.

Welcome to the SoFlo Legal Scene event. Sidebar’s Welcome Event is a large-scale collaborative event bringing together South Florida’s premier legal representatives and community organizations to innovate, connect, and engage. This event is targeted to all legal professionals looking to engage in their local legal community (law students, recent law school graduates, young lawyers practicing less than five years, new transplants to the South Florida legal community, etc.) and seeks to introduce and connect legal professionals with local community organizations (VBAs, non-profits, etc.) to make it easier for event attendees to engage and get involved.

Tickets for students and new bar admits are completely free!! Interested attendees can register here. For a copy of Sidebar’s event flyer, please visit the CDO or ask your CDO advisor.
