The Leadership Council on Legal Diversity’s Success in Law School Mentoring Program for 1L Students

The Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) is excited to offer the LCLD Success in Law School Mentoring Program for first year students at the University Of Miami School of Law. LCLD is a national organization of more than 220 corporate general counsel and law firm managing partners. For more information about LCLD, please visit LCLD’s website.

LCLD believes that success in law school is the first step to a successful legal career. To support the success of diverse students in law school, LCLD is launching the 2015-2016 LCLD Success in Law School Mentoring Program in more than 30 cities around the country, including Miami. Participating mentees will be paired with an experienced lawyer in your city, from one of LCLD’s Member organizations.

Mentees will also have an opportunity to participate in the LCLD Group Mentoring Program, which includes networking events and substantive informational programming. You can register online for this first come, first serve program beginning December 1, 2015. Please register on LCLD’s website, using this link. If you have additional questions, please feel free to contact Yazmyne Vasquez in the CDO.
