The American Bar Association Business Law Section Offers Two Opportunities For Law Students

The ABA Business Law Section offers two outstanding initiatives specifically for law students:

2014 Mendes Hershman Student Writing Contest:

This highly regarded student writing contest is in its 28th year. Law students writing on a business law subject of general and current interest have the opportunity to win up to $2,500 and a paid trip to the Section Spring Meeting in Los Angeles, CA.

2014 Business Law Section Diversity Clerkship Program:

Up to 9 law students from diverse backgrounds are placed in summer business court clerkships around the country. Students will gain invaluable experience and the opportunity to build their network. They will also receive a stipend to cover living expenses for the duration of the 8-week clerkship.
