Attend the Public Interest Legal Careers Luncheon on September 16, 2013

On behalf of the UM Federal Bar Association, the Career Development Office (CDO) cordially invites you to attend their upcoming Public Interest Legal Careers Luncheon. The luncheon takes place on Monday, September 16, 2013 from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Student Lounge. Lunch is provided for all attendees. The luncheon will be an excellent opportunity to gain valuable advice on starting a career in the public sector and the work of the Federal Bar Association. The panel will feature the following speakers:

  • Celeste Higgins, Federal Public Defender’s Office
  • Lisa Roberts, United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)
  • Eduardo Sanchez, United States Attorney’s Office

The panel will be moderated by Bernie Pastor, current President of the South Florida Chapter of the Federal Bar Association and attorney with the Miami-Dade County Attorney’s Office.
