Become an OLPCorps Volunteer
OLPCorps is OLPC’s official field volunteer program. It is a worldwide community dedicated to transforming education for children who have had little or no access to modern information technology. OLPCorps gives young people the opportunity to contribute their minds, bodies, time and skills to delivering better education for children living in some of the world’s most disadvantaged communities.
OLPC has just piloted their first project in the United States at Holmes Elementary School in Liberty City. Staff members and community partners are working to sustain the positive momentum this project has created. The organization’s nontraditional approach to education and technology, one that has captivated over 2.5 million young minds around the world, is supported byMiami-Dade County Public Schools and Knight Foundation.
