Tuesday, August 30th:

 

Judicial Intern Program – Application deadline due today at 5:00 p.m. Applications are available at the reception desk in the Career Development Office, Room A112.  You may submit your application materials in hard copy to the Career Development Office or electronically.   

The Attorney General’s Honors Program and Summer Law Intern Program12:30 p.m. – 1:30p.m. in Room: F108. Patricia Cooper, Attorney Advisor, Executive Office for Immigration Review, will discuss the opportunities available at the Department of Justice for new attorneys and interns.  Students applying for the Summer Law Intern Program (SLIP) and Honors Program are especially encouraged to attend.

Hispanic National Bar Association Conference & Career Fair – Scholarship and Volunteer Opportunities for StudentsHNBA needs volunteers to work a minimum of 10 hours from August 30th – September 3rd.  Volunteers will have the registration fee waived and full access to the conference and job fair.  Scholarships are also available to cover all costs of attending the convention, including lodging and travel.  For application form and questions, contact HNBA Events Director, Erika Lopez-Tello  or at 202-223-4777.

King & Spalding Diversity Fellowship Applications Due! –Complete the online application and submit a copy of your current résumé, a copy of your undergraduate transcript, a copy of your law school transcript and a personal statement, not to exceed 500 words, which describes your talents, qualities, and experiences and how you would contribute to the diversity of King & Spalding via email on or before September 2, 2011.
